It is caught between May and October in the Cantabrian Sea during the "Campaña Costera del Bonito" using traditional methods that preserve its quality.

Bonito tuna stands out for its fat content. Its high concentration of omega-3 fatty acids makes it a very healthy food thanks to its role in regulating cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. It also stands out for its vitamins A and D and its folic acid content.
