Frayulas or Gulas are substitute of the eels, made with surimi. These mild, tender baby eels are carefully prepared in olive oil with a touch of garlic. Served hot in a pan, they are one of the most delicious tapas you will ever try.
Heat the "gulas" in a pan over low heat. Serve with crusty bread and a crisp glass of Albarino wine from Galicia.
