Flumen Dorivm Crianza Ribera del Duero. Spanish red wine from Ribera del Duero. Very deep dark cherry colour with maroon edges. On the nose it develops notes of ripe fruit, strawberry and blueberry compote with balsamic, roasted and vanilla nuances. In the mouth it is round, fleshy, velvety, with a fine and elegant final touch. It's a great companion to red meat, roasts and stews. Hand-picked from vines over 30 years old, with a very rigorous selection. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks, with daily pumping over and maceration for at least 15 days. Transfer to French and American oak barrels and resting for 12 months. Since 1920 Bodegas Thesaurus has been making its wines by selecting grapes from the Ribera del Duero Denomination of Origin. The Ribera is ideal for the cultivation of the vine. Its proximity to the Duero River, together with the extreme temperatures, generates the perfect conditions for the cultivation of the tempranillo variety.
