Marqués de Cáceres Crianza Rioja. Red wine from Rioja, Spain. Made from a blend of Tempranillo, Graciano and Garnacha Tinta grapes, aged 12 months in French oak and American barrels. Attractive luminous layer. On the nose a blend of toasted wood and hints of spice, combined with notes of candied red fruit and hints of liquorice. Round, pleasant, with voluminous tannins, revealing a slight aftertaste of ripe fruit. Lengthy and round finish. Pairs perfectly with beef, lamb and veal dishes.
In 1970, Enrique Forner founded Marqués de Cáceres, Unión Vitivinícola, S.A., a historic Alliance between a region (Cenicero, La Rioja Alta), an enterprising family that has been devoted to the wine trade for five generations, the best vine growers and vineyards in La Rioja and a Bordeaux concept which revolutionised the production and business model with a single objective: the quality to obtain the best wines.
