Zamburiñas are small tender scallops that are a favorite in Galicia in Northwest Spain. They are prepared in a tomato and hot paprika sauce called 'Salsa de Vieira.' Exquisite and perfect as an 'aperitivo or starter when accompanied by a good glass of white wine.
