Artichokes are one of the most appreciated vegetables in Spanish cuisine. They are a seasonal product, so having them preserved is great to enjoy them all year round. These artichoke hearts have been hand selected and prepared using traditional Spanish methods. They are packed in water and salt.
Below you will find a quick and easy recipe to enjoy these artichokes.
Sautéed Artichokes with Tuna
Time: 10 min
Ingredients:
Artichokes 150gr
Tuna
Salt
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Drain the artichokes and tuna from their respective containers. Cut the artichoke hearts in half.
Put a little oil in a frying pan and add the artichoke hearts. Add a little salt and sauté for several minutes.
Then add the tuna to the pan and sauté it together with the artichokes for several minutes, until you can see that the artichoke hearts are golden brown. Remove the pan from the heat and serve on your plate.
Tip: You can add finely chopped garlic at the beginning of the recipe. Add it to the pan with oil to allow the oil to take on its flavour, and sauté the artichokes and tuna in the oil.
